Claremorris Fringe Festival – Beckett’s Last Throw shortlisted
My short play, Beckett’s Last Throw, written and directed by Mirror Theatre, was shortlisted in the Claremorris Fringe Festival and performed at Claremorris Town Hall on Friday, March 15th.
The production was led by producer Tommy Morahan from Louisburgh, who also took on the role of Samuel Beckett. The talented cast included Brian Joyce (Ballinrobe), Faith Lally (Srah), and Siobhán Campbell (Ballinrobe).
I was delighted that Beckett’s Last Throw was named Runner-Up for Best Script. It was wonderful to see the play brought to life with such energy and care by a dedicated local team.
Congratulations also to Tommy Morahan, who won Best Interpretation of Script, and to Siobhán Campbell, who received the award for Best Female Actor.
A lovely festival event in Claremorris — well done to everyone involved.
