Car parking arrangements for launch of On The Way Out

If you’re coming by car to the launch of On The Way Out in Ballinrobe Library (F31 YR60) on Saturday, 22 November, at 7.30pm, please note the following suggestions – no parking will be available in the grounds of the library, but thankfully there are three big car parks nearby, along with on-street parking.

• Coming from Hollymount / Claremorris end: we recommend The Abbey Street car park (120 yards from the library). Enter Abbey Street in your Google Map.
• Coming from The Neale/ Kilmaine (Tuam / Galway) directions: The CBS Car Park (also approximately 120 yards from the library). Enter Cornmarket in your Google Map.
• No matter where you’re coming from, literally or metaphorically, the SuperValu Car Park is the closest to the library. However, on the evening it will be busy with traffic from Mass in the adjacent St Mary’s Church (Mass is at 7.30pm as well); hence we’d ask you to try one of the other car parks or street parking first. There’s plenty of space in those locations. Enter Super Valu Ballinrobe in your Google Map and the car park is behind this. 

And, of course, on-street parking is free that time of the evening.
